Bhutanese Care was born from a shared dream between Sonam Choki and her partner — a vision to bring more heart into childcare.

Before founding Bhutanese Care, Sonam worked professionally as both a nanny and a Newborn Care Specialist. She has years of hands-on experience caring for children, including helping raise her three nephews and four nieces. Today, she continues her work caring for a sweet three-year-old girl who reminds her daily why this calling matters.

Through her experience, Sonam realized that childcare should never feel distant or distracted. Children deserve presence, patience, and genuine love. Families deserve caregivers who are attentive, engaged, and emotionally connected.

Bhutanese Care was created to raise that standard — mentoring caregivers to approach their work with intention, warmth, and true care.
